Happy Earth Day! At Just Enough Wines, one of our core values is sustainability. In fact, the whole idea of Just Enough started with the need to eliminate wine waste. There are many ways that we have adopted sustainability into our business model to bring our love of wine and love for the planet together. From sourcing our grapes from SIP-certified vineyards, to the use of aluminum cans, down to our recyclable packaging; we are dedicated to finding innovative ways for our business to contribute to a healthier, happier planet.
One of the ways you can see our sustainability mission at work is through our partnership with 1% for the Planet. 1% for the Planet is an international organization founded to prevent greenwashing and provide accountability for businesses to put people and the planet over profit by connecting corporations with charitable organizations from all around the world. As a member of 1% for the Planet, we are committed to donating one percent of our annual sales to environmentally friendly non-profit organizations.

California State Parks Foundation
The first organization we chose to support this year with our 1% for the Planet donation is the California State Parks Foundation. We are so proud to be partners of the California State Parks Foundation for the second year in a row! CalParks is a non-profit foundation committed to getting Californians involved within the state parks. California State Parks’ mission is to promote the health, inspiration, and education of Californians by assisting in the preservation of the state's great biological diversity, the protection of the state's valuable natural and cultural resources, and creating opportunities for high-quality outdoor recreation. Because our company’s roots lie in California, we are so proud to be giving back to the beautiful state parks that we have enjoyed over the years. Girlventures
The second organization we chose to support this year is Girlventures. Girlventures is a nonprofit organization based in the Bay Area with a mission to inspire girls to lead through outdoor adventure, inner discovery, and collective action. As a female-founded business, supporting young women in our community is incredibly important to us. We are inspired by Girlventures’ dedication to nurturing adolescent girls' self-esteem and leadership skills.
