Trader Joe's Holiday Charcuterie Pairings

Are you ready for round two of our Trader Joe’s Charcuterie board pairings series?


If you’re like us and do your holiday grocery shopping at Trader Joe’s, you’re probably the treasured guest of every holiday party. Your appetizers and entrees are the first to fly off the table at Friendsgiving, triggering those 2 am, “U up, where did you buy that cheese?” texts. Believe us when we say that Trader Joe’s seasonal items are the secret weapon to a Holiday charcuterie board. With fun limited-edition fall flavors like apple cider, pumpkin, and cranberry, these delicious picks are sure to spice up your holiday happy hour, or Friendsgiving. 


To make sure all wine lovers at the table have a bite to nibble on, we have curated four kick-ass holiday boards to pair with our four Just Enough wine varietals. Let’s do this thing.

 

Pinot Noir Board

 

First up, we have the perfect board for our Just Enough Pinot Noir. Start off with a firm cheese like manchego and a softer, double cream gouda to create a foundation for your board. Run a salami river through the middle of your board, and surround it with fresh blackberries and pomegranate seeds to sweeten things up. Place a handful of pita crackers around the fresh fruit and a small dish of apple cider fruit spread at the corner of your board. Finish by adding candied pecans (measure with your heart) and rosemary to garnish. Pop a can of Just Enough Pinot Noir and you are ready to rock the socks off of your holiday guests.

  • Manchego
  • Double Cream Gouda
  • Salami 
  • Pita Crackers
  • Blackberries
  • Apple cider fruit spread
  • Pomegranate seeds
  • Candied Pecans
  • Rosemary to garnish (optional)

Chardonnay Board

 

Next up, we have a board to pair with our Just Enough Chardonnay. First, anchor your board with TJ’s Le Gruyere Switzerland Cheese. Next, add some hot, spicy coppa salami to give your board a little kick. Slice up half of a french baguette and place it on the outer corner of your board stacked domino-style. Place your baked sea salt croccatini crackers in the empty space. Next, fill two small bowls, one with fig jam and the other with cornichons to perfectly balance the board. (I mean, who doesn’t love a sweet and salty garnish?). For a touch of fruit, add some granny smith apple slices, and dried apricots. And voilá! The perfect holiday board to pair with Just Enough Chardonnay

  • Spicy Coppa Salami 
  • French Baguette
  • Baked Sea Salt Croccatini Crackers
  • Granny Smith Apple Slices
  • Fig Jam
  • Cornichons
  • Dried Apricots

Rosé Board

 

They say three is a magic number, which is why our third seasonal board is made for Just Enough Rosé. Start by placing your triple creme brie in the center of your board. Grab your sliced up cantaloupe, and carefully wrap prosciutto around it, secure with a toothpick and add alongside your brie cheese. Next, cube up some TJ’s unexpected cheddar cheese and pile it next to some freshly sliced strawberries. Place a small bowl of apricot preserves to add a little flair to the mix. Finish it up by adding figs and almonds. You will never get “bored” of the many flavor combinations you can create with these ingredients.

  • Fig and Olive Crisps
  • Strawberries
  • Figs
  • Apricot Preserves
  • Almonds

Brut Bubbles Board

 

Fizz the season. Last, but certainly not least we have a rockin’ board to pair with our newly released edition of Just Enough Brut Bubbles. Start by placing your cranberry chevre goat cheese log in the center of your board. Surround your cheese with red grapes and pomegranate seeds (you can even add a few pomegranate seeds to your bubbles!). Roll up your prosciutto, and place it on the outskirts of your board. Add a river of cranberry and pistachio crisps and sea salt crackers. Next, put a small bowl of fig jam on your board and garnish with candied pecans. Celebrate a board well done by poppin’ open some Just Enough Bubbles to enjoy it with!
